Last year, hundreds of Daytonians came together at a dinner table the length of the Third Street bridge. It was packed with strangers who wanted to break bread with their neighbors and meet someone new. Longest Table meals challenge participants to re-think their assumptions about other parts of town and the people who live there.
For the last year, the Longest Table team has been hosting monthly meals in neighborhoods and community centers to keep the conversation going. On October 14th, we're returning to the Peace Bridge to learn from each other again and continue to build a stronger Dayton.
